Dr. Sydney Wong
Dr. Sydney Wong was trained at Queen's University (Kingston) and University of Toronto. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, with sub-specialty training in arterial and venous surgery. He is also a Surgeon-Teacher at the University of Toronto Department of Surgery.
His areas of specialty expertise include:
- Management and minimally invasive treatments of venous insufficiency and varicose veins, including endovenous laser ablation (EVLA), non-thermal ablation (Venaseal, cyanoacrylate) and chemical ablation (sclerotherapy).
- Open and minimally invasive aortic surgery.
- Management of peripheral arterial disease (PVD).
- Surgical treatment of carotid disease.
- Compression and management of severe venous disease and ulceration.
